Thursday night all the candidates for Mayor and City Council participated in a forum sponsored by Mr. Hassell's American Government class. Over an estimated 300 students and parents listened to the answers of Barstow's future leaders.
I was very impressed by the quality of questions that the students asked, they are very informed about the issues effecting Barstow.
I stayed after to answer questions and listen to the concerns of the students. Above in the picture taken by Desert Dispatch writer Aaron Aupperlee, you will notice me wearing the Aztec colors and a cap. Fun night!

Barstow High forum a success
