Coach James Duarte and Helphinkley.org founder
have been nominated for "Man of the Year". Both are deserving of the award!
Coach Duarte has devoted his time and energy to continue rerepresenting Barstow
by winnining his 5th State Cross Country Championship in 2007.
Norman Diaz has relentlessly fought and
organized a strong group to fight the outdoor compost sludge facility 7 miles
west of Hinkley.
