According to a memo the City of Barstow received from our lobbiest Nick Medeiros "The Los Coyotes and Big Lagoon compacts are dead" Sad news for the citizens of Barstow, because the majority want indian gaming for the economic benefits. Then Mayor Dale writes a letter on "City of Barstow" letterhead disputing the Chemehuevi's ancesetrial ties to Barstow, without City Council approval.
